Larry Frimanslund OCF Memorial Fund
Larry Frimanslund was diagnosed with oral cancer January 2005. Since then he went through four surgeries to remove tumors in the jaw area, over 30 radiation treatments and chemotherapy treatments every week for over a year and a half before he passed away on November 3rd, 2008. He fought oral cancer for four years with great courage and determination. Larry is our hero and our inspiration.
Larry was born October 18, 1944 in Fargo, North Dakota and lived most of his years in Grand Rapids, MN. He worked as a Journeyman Electrician for over 32 years and was a proud member of IBEW Local Union #1426. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed talking to his friends and people all over the world on his ham radio, riding his Harley Davidson, working on his Corvette and just being with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Thank you mom (Connie Frimanslund) for all you did for Dad! The countless trips back and forth to various hospitals and clinics, sleepless nights taking care of him, staying by his side through thick and thin and keeping his spirits up through this horrible battle. We are proud of you!
A majority of the proceeds will go to early detection devices and oral cancer research. The Frimanslund family thanks you for your help.
