Features
Where: 5 mile walk from Mothers Rest Area to Castle Island and back.
Time: Registration begins at 8:30AM. Walk starts at 10AM.
Sponsor Amount: Minimum sponsorship is $20, but you may enter in any amount above this once the product is in the shopping cart. All donations are tax deductible. When you continue through the checkout process to pay for your sponsorship, DO NOT FORGET TO ENTER THE WALKER'S NAME IN THE COMMENTS BLOCK. WITHOUT THIS STEP WE WILL NOT KNOW WHO TO CREDIT FOR YOUR SPONSORSHIP.
Beneficiary: All sponsorship monies raised will go to benefit The Oral Cancer Foundation, an IRS registered 501c3 non-profit.
Awards: Prizes to the top three walkers or team leaders who raise the
most money.
Directions: Take Exit 15 off of Route 93 and follow the signs to Day Blvd.
Proceed to the North Bay Side Expo Center - Day Blvd. Entrance.
Turn right and park in the parking lot.
(165 Day Boulevard is the address of the bathhouse at Carson
Beach in South Boston. The Mother's Rest area, where
the walk
will begin, is right beside that.)
Public transportation – MBTA Red Line to JFK/UMass stop
