Features
Where: 5 mile walk from Mothers Rest Area to Castle Island and back.
Time: Registration begins at 8:30AM. Walk starts at 10AM.
Registration: Registration is a $20 minimum in sponsorship per walker. Please print your invoice or receipt, and take it with you on the day of the walk to the registration booth as verification of prepayment. WITHOUT YOUR PRINTED INVOICE, THERE WILL BE NO WAY TO VERIFY YOUR PREPAYMENT THE DAY OF THE WALK. DON'T FORGET TO BRING IT
T-shirts given to the first 200 participants to check-in the day of
the walk. All donations are tax deductible.
Beneficiary: All registration fees and monies raised through sponsorships will
serve as direct donations to The Oral Cancer Foundation.
Awards: Prizes to the top three walkers or team leaders who raise the
most money.
Directions: Take Exit 15 off of Route 93 and follow the signs to Day Blvd.
Proceed to the North Bay Side Expo Center - Day Blvd. Entrance.
Turn right and park in the parking lot.
(165 Day Boulevard is the address of the bathhouse at Carson
Beach in South Boston. The Mother's Rest area, where the walk
will begin, is right beside that.)
Public transportation – MBTA Red Line to JFK/UMass stop
